Freestyle – “Invade The Party”
12.04.2009 at 17:50:48

Just when you thought it was safe to rest your eyebrows.

FREESTYLE ARE BACK !

After what was one of the most entertaining chocolate advert ever, combined with one of the greatest electro tunes ever the rebirth of Freestyle has taken Europe by storm and with news that Cadbury will also run a U.S. campaign that will no doubt increase the publicity around the whole Electro Movement.

But this time with a helping hand from the creator of Bass as we know it the man with the plan DEBONIARE takes the helm of the Invasion fleet that’s heading to a speaker system near you........

Freestyle – “Invade The Party” – Debonaire DL-DEB-016

This Release sees the new crew of Freestyle (Freestyle Evolution)
Garfield “Gar Funk” Baker, Byron “L.B” Smith, Tori “Rockmaster” Newkirk and Keedron “Key-Lo” Fleming joining forces with Debonaire Records, Inc. to bring you what I would say is one of the Greatest releases of the new Electro movement (not that it ever went away). And with the Forthcoming “Icons Of Genius” album things are going to get a lot hotter for us all.

But anyway back to the track – “Invade The Party”.

To tell you the truth words cannot express how I feel about this MONSTER. It has everything you would ever need from a Debonaire / Freestyle production thundering bone crushing ear aching BASS, a vocoded vocal performance to die for with awesome melodic flow.....really I can’t tell you how good this track is.

The second track from the release – “All These Girls” sees the Electro Pharaoh himself Egyptian Lover take time out from tending to his harem of freaks to deliver a feature cameo like only he can. Dropping vocals that you know only too well while the boys from Freestyle demonstrate how the REAL DEAL do things with lashings of vocoder to please the Electro faithful. This track also has that crossover ability to take it to the mainstream without fear of losing its roots in Electro-Funk. All in all, this is a release not to be missed and I promise it’s going to move more than your eyebrows!
